Welcome to the web pages of The Prague Centre for International and Comparative Law.

Our centre is an independent think-tank incorporated under the laws of the Czech Republic. Its members conduct research in the fields of International Law, Law of Internatinal Trade, International Taxation, Human Rights Law, as well as European Law and Comparative research of municipal legal systems. The center cooperates in its activivities with researchers in Universities both domestically and abroad, as well as with other non-governmental organizations and also activelly supoports publishing of scientific literature in the relevant fields.

The center's work i divided in independet research groups, ones that are autonoumous in their activities within the framework of the centre's scope of activities. Currenly the following research groups are active:

  1. RG/IEL: Research Group on International Economic Law and Investment Protection.
  2. RG/ITH: Reserch Group on International Taxation Harmonisation
  3. RG/DCC: Research Group on Discrimination in Comparative Law.

Our centre is also responsible for the Publication of the Prague Yearbook of Comparative Law

We are pen to bilateral and multilateral cross-boundary partnerships on research grants.
